These terms apply to Safe Haven Vault and related software published by Haven Developments ("we", "us"). By installing or using the software you accept them.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the software on devices you control. You may not resell it, sublicense it, or redistribute modified copies of it.
Your vault is encrypted on your device with keys derived from your master password. We do not hold that password and we have no way to recover it or your data. If you lose your master password, your vault cannot be recovered by us or by anyone else. Keeping a backup and remembering your password is your responsibility.
Sync writes your encrypted vault to storage you control. Availability and durability of that storage is a matter between you and that provider.
Purchases made through Google Play are refunded under Google Play's refund policy. Purchases made directly are refundable within 30 days of purchase — email us. Statutory rights under Canadian consumer law are not affected by anything in these terms.
Do not use the software to break the law, and do not attempt to use it to gain unauthorised access to systems or accounts that are not yours.
The software is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.
You may stop using the software at any time. We may end the licence if these terms are seriously breached. Your local vault data remains yours and remains on your device.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
